Online Orientation

Attention all volunteers working with girls, interested parents, and prospective volunteers! Does your schedule conflict with the available training dates? Then join us on-line for Orientation Training. This training covers basic information about Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouting in the USA, the Girl Scout Promise and Law, the four program goals, girl/adult partnership, safety, and pluralism.

1.        Go to:  http://training.girlscouts.org

2.      To access the training site for the first time, new users will be required to have a registration password.  The password is Bertha.

3.      You will be instructed to enter your name and address along with a username and password.  The user name and password are unique to you so that you can re-visit the website if you are unable to complete the training in one sitting.

4.      Select GA as the state that your council is in.

5.      Select Southwest GA #327 as your council.

6.      You are all set to go! At the end of each section, you will be asked to write comments. Please feel free to offer feedback about the sections that you have reviewed.

7.      After completing the entire training, please send an email message to Valerie stating that you have completed the online orientation training.

Please Note:  Failure to complete all components of training may result in having to attend Overview and Getting Started Workshop.
