DEVELOPMENT
The Girl Scouts of Southwest Georgia, Inc. are a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. We rely solely upon the financial support of the community, businesses and our members. We conduct four segmented fund drives which are as follows:
- Annual Giving Campaign
- Family Partnership Campaign
- Campership Campaign
- Vendor Campaign
- Commit to a Girl -
Our Council also raises funds from our annual special event the The Daddy Daughter Dance as well as our Annual Girl Scout Cookie Program.
Because we receive no funding from the State or Federal Government, we must ask the public for support on a annual basis. Our Council aggressively pursues grants from both the public and private sectors.
