Camp Okit is nestled on 338 acres of rolling, wooded land, located west of Albany, GA.

  Camp facilities include:

  • Dining hall with a fully equipped kitchen
  • Wellness center
  • Environmental Education and Career Center
  • Craft pavilion
  • Trading post
  • In-ground swimming pool
  • 12-acre lake with canoes and a dock for fishing.
  • Horse stables
  • Archery range
  • Softball diamond
  • Miles of scenic trails
  • Newly renovated outdoor activity center with playground
  • Zip Line
  • Basketball court
  • Volleyball court

Camp Okit is used during the summer months as a resident camp. Troops and families use the camp throughout the year for camping and other activities.

Camp Okit is divided into four areas called units. Each unit is unique in it’s own special way.

  • NOCHAWAY – four cabins, with four beds each,  and a bathhouse.
  • SEMINOLE – nine cabins with two bunk beds each, a troop house and two bathhouses.
  • YAMACRAW – six tree houses with four beds each, picnic shelter and bathhouse.
  • APACHE – primitive camping, no facilities.
